The British Vein Institute
Message from Philip Coleridge Smith and British Vein Institute R.E. COVID19.
As global concern about the current COVID-19 outbreak grows, safeguarding staff and customers is our top priority, whilst minimising the disruptions to our day-to-day operations.
We’re closely monitoring the situation and understand the current outbreak is worrying, and we would like to take this opportunity to reassure our customers/patients that we are taking all necessary measure to protect our patients against harm of any type in compliance with CQC recommendations.
We are committed to adhering to the advice provided by local and international authorities, applying a best practice and proactive measure to ensure our business continuity. Our practices will remain open to our patients with a couple of staff working from the practice ongoing. To safeguard staff and patients, we have further heightened our already extremely rigid sterilisation and cleaning standards, such as to virtually eliminate the possibility of disease transmission to our outstanding team or you, our valued patient.
We recommend that our patients consult NHS advice on general measures to be taken which are published here: https://www.nhs.uk/.
If patients wish to attend appointments at the practice then this can be arranged at this time subject to government guidance changing. Over the phone consultations are also very popular with patients.
During such unprecedented times, we would like to take the opportunity to thank you for your trust in us, and would like to reiterate that our priority is the health and well-being of our staff and our patients, whilst endeavouring to continue to deliver an uninterrupted service to our clients. We will continue to monitor the situation closely, and will provide you with updates as appropriate.
Thanks for your continued support in this uncertain time.
